hello! I want to make a network for 5 plc S7-200 by wireless LAN, please help me, hardware what? and configuration.how far for communication. |

Hello, Wireless LAN is something like wireless Ethernet. S7-200 do not have an Ethernet interface on the CPU, so you will need to add a communication processor CP234-1 or CP243-1 IT wich are COMMUNICATIONS PROCESSOR FOR CONNECTION OF SIMATIC S7-22X TO INDUSTRIAL ETHERNET Problem is that the product cancellation was declared in februari 2010. See http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/41275686 So may be you could consider to use S7-1200 instead of S7-200. The S7-1200 have one Ethernet Interface by default. |
