PM250 supplied from UPS

We have installed a G120 PM250 drive on a machine. But it turned out that this machine is supplied from a UPS. Will this cause any problems to the drive or to the ups?  Thank you

I used to work for a UPS manufacture. The drive is a broadband noise generator. Typically the load on the UPS is critical... I would not recommend a drive be on the load side of the UPS.

Even if the UPS handles the drive OK. THD or total harmonic distortion of the output sign wave may cause other things on the critical bus to start misbehaving. I don't think the drive will care.

The drive has a built in filter. 

Is it possible to stop the regeneration with a parameter on the drive, or with a digital input? 

With OFF2 the pulses to the motor would  be disabled.

So no energy  comes from the motor  back to the DC Link.

on another forum, they mentioned that, when supplying the PM250 from a UPS, the G120 PM250 will turn itself off when it detects the high impedance source (which is the ups), so the drive will not be operating in this case.
