PN/PN coupler with rockwell

CGR013 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a question, I have a wide ethernet conection beween plc's (s7300 315 PNDP) and slaves like power monitoring units, all done in a ethernet network, and people of the plant want to take some data from my PLC to their network that is composed with RSLogix 5000 from rockwell and a Factory Talk rockwell scada. I dont want they to have an"electrical" connection to my ethernet network, so I thought in a PNPN coupler to isolate both networks, and they will only be able to read what I want so send... Will this device work in the rockwell side to take the data that I allow?? I dont know nothing about rockwell... Thanks.

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 3/18/2025 Posts: 3042 Rating: (1061)	Hello CGR013 you'd need a ProfiNet I/O Controller capable interface in your A/B PLC to be able to use the PN/PN couplerwhichas far as I know does not (yet) exist (but perhaps other may know of one).
