Pointer accessing PI PQ areas?

Chris.Percival Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have created an indiret addressing function which incorporates SFC20 BLKMOV but it has one short fall: When composing a pointer how does one access peripheral I/O? I cant find any help on usingtype B#16#80 and using types B#16#81 or B#16#82 doesnot work (except with local IO of course)

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 5/29/2023 Posts: 2965 Rating: (1025)	Hello Chris.Percival 80(hex) is in principle the correct memory area for the ANY pointer if you want to access peripheral I/O's. The problem in your case is though that SFC20 does NOT allow a blockmove to/from peripheral I/O's (only Process Image related blockmoves are unfortunately supported by SFC20). I hope this help
