Pole position identification routine details

Hello,

Sinamisc S120 drive, S7 300T CPU, Custom torque motor with incremental SinCos feedback encoder with Zero mark.

Because feedback encoder is incremental, I think for each power up, I need to apply pole position identification.

I am not experienced in Sinamics, and there is no physical drive system for now for testing.

I have 2 questions:

1- How can I start pole position identification routine? In Function Manual there is a sentence: "Enable pulses and start pole position identification".  Does this mean Enabling pulses starts the pole position identification routine automatically?

2- Is there a parameter showing pole position id. routine is needed, in progress or already completed?
