Hello,

I'am trying to create a popup wich must be activated by an alarm in a PLC (s7-400).

I created a tag on a bit from the PLC. (The PLC is not in the tia portal project).

For some reason i can't select the show pop up screen options under the events of this tag.

When i use a button i can select the option show pop up screen but who wants a pop up if you first have to press a button.

Who nows the solution?

Hi!

Just an idea to test:

Wherever VBScript can be used, put the ShowPopupScreen() system function into a VBScript and use that script in the Value change event of the alarm bit. I haven't tried this, though.

I would also like to know the reason why we cannot use this function directly at Value change.
