Hi. I was wondering what the possibilities are with C scripting, and where you normally use it with advantage? |

Hello JannikP so i Suppose you work with WinCC Professional Runtime?? -> there are a lot of functions your could do with C Script or with VB Script If you do a lot of Access to Objects and Properties then you should use VB Script. here its much faster. If you want to do calculation and so on you should use C Script. But there are also a few Functions you only have to use with C Scripts. for example the Userarchive Interface is a C Script one. look in the Programming manual of WinCC https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109747179 Bye Murof |
If this Information really helps, you could use the Rate function |
