Possible to test H/R redundancy with S7 simulation Software.

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (259)	H-system redundant functions can't be tested with PLCSim. But to be honest i can't imagine what exactly do you want to test.... Program for H-system and ordinary S7-400 are very similar. The only thing for testing is HW features (PLCSim cant help with it) and some rare cases like OB7x. To test R-system you need simulate 2 systems. In new PLCSim it's possible in principle, but there is restrictions on communications between 2 systems, so i'm unsure, that redundancy blocks will work properly.

But this simulator can not provide due out in a previous post of reasons. Therefore, consider the testing of R-systems, except in cases such as unbalanced input separately does not see the point
