Sergej39 Posts: 25 Rating: (0)	Hi, Nemo I don't use WinCC, but now, I am translating a booklet “Totally Integrated Automation – Overview 2005” into Russian and I would like to have explanations of the terms in the booklet for to make accurate translation. The terms ‘PowerTag’ and ‘archive tag’ are in the table on the page 37 of the booklet. Thank you, and excuse my English

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi! Power tags are memory allocations within a PLC or similar. Roughly speaking,they are the external tags, those which are storedin a PLC, for instance,an are updated by it. Archive tags are the tags to be archived, as the implied by their name. They're the ones you configure in Tag Logging, the ones which are archived by the systemto be usedintrends, history, reports and so on. When you purchase a license it has a limited number of Power Tags and Archive Tags. You can buy upgrades (power packs)if you need more than your license allows. Internal tags (memory allocations withinWinCC)and compressed archives do not count for licensing purposes.
