PPP Connection using 1SI Module and CDMA Modem

Navnag Platinum Expert Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 3/16/2025 Posts: 2326 Rating: (309)	Hello friends We are commissioning a IM-151-8 based Remote system, which has to communicate with Customer's SCADA on IEC through aPPP connection using a CDMA Modem and AT Commands. We areusing Visiontek 82QM CDMA Modem with Static IP Activated SIM. As per the Modem Manufacturer we just have to Give ATDT#777 command and then PPP nagotiation follows. I am able to reach the stge of Dialling with ATDT#777 and receive CONNECT. After this I have to establish a PPP connection and give Username and Password to log on to the network. However instead of getting Username and Password prompts, we are getting a set of Hex Strings ( For PPP Link establishment ). Pl see attachment. Can anyone advise, what further Modem Commands are required to establish a PPP connection and give Username & Password. Thanks Navnag Attachment Modem_01.zip (69 Downloads)
