Prevent unauthorized user to access Windows Desktop or Taskbar

mara Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Hi, all! I must prevent unauthorized user (in WinCC) to access desktop or taskbar (generally to access system when WinCC is active). For that purpose I am using keyboard locking (only Ctrl+F4,Ctrl+Alt+Del,Ctrl+Esc,Alt+Tab etc.). Only authorized user (WinCC administrator, not Windows administrator) can toggle keyboard functions. I shut down CD-ROM autorun under WindowsXP. Only problem left is following: I am using Recpro/Valpro and user can run them from WinCC main screen. After that, taskbar is shown and user can access to all functions of operating system. Can I somehow prevent taskbar to be shown using C or VB script in WinCC? Thank you!

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (150)	Yes, I just set my Runtime screen to Full Screen and in the Taskbar properties I unchecked the following options : - "Lock the taskbar" -"Auto-hide the taskbar" - "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" I am using XP SP2 and WinCC V6 SP4. Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Whichever keys you've blocked on runtime will also be blcked upon WinCC startup. If you use Autostart, WinCC starts up as soon as Windows starts, so the keys are automatically blocked.
