We would like to hear from any one, who has successfully used a post-of-sale (receipt) printer with endless paper to print Report of TP700 Comfort via USB/ Ethernet.

The problem is not so many printer's producers develop driver to the HMI.

We found on http://star-emea.com/siemens-panels/  the printer Star TSP743II has driver to TP700 but when trying to transfer the driver, using SIMATIC Prosave V14.0.0.0 . we cannot find the driver!? (We followed the guide onhttps://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/11376409 and use  SIMATIC Prosave V14.0.0.0.)

A local Siemens' support told me that if Ethernet and PostScript is used, a printer will not need a driver. Did any one has experience with this?

I followed the post "Printers for SIMATIC HMI Panels":

I installed the option ProSave_Opt_1_4_0_0.exe (11428 KB) on my engineering enginge.

Made a restart of ProSave. Choose my Panel, give a IP-Address. Then I clicked the tab "Option".

Then select the desired printer driver under "Available options".

Set "Transfer" mode on the HMI device.

Follow the ProSave instructions and the instructions which appear on the HMI device.
