I have an important problem with an SQL Query to the WinCC Database that I cannot solve. I have WinCC Professional V15.1 with SQL 2014 Management Studio.

I want to execute a query against the Linked Server that WinCC creates (in old times you need the Connectivity Pack for this, nowadays it's already included) through the WinCCOLEDBProvider (the default name is LnkRtDb_WinCCOLEDB). I need to access to the data of this server in the SQL Studio, and after searching I found that some people did it with this instruction (for example, for the variable with ID = 1:

SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(LnkRtDbWinCCOLEDB,'TAG:R,1,"2019-08-09 11:20:00","2019-08-09 11:25:00"')

I've tried different function formats, but it always throws the same error:

"WinCCOLEDBProvider supplied inconsistent metadata. An extra column was supplied during execution that was not found at compile time."

I need to do it in this way and not with Excel or other program, just directly with SQL Management Studio. I'll aprecciate all the help you can give.
