Problem after installing Step7 V5.4 SP5 on Windows 7

Somebody took Common Files folder from Vista and copied it in Win7. It works fine, i tested. You can read how to install step7 under new OS is here: http://xuek.ru/eblog/2009/10/step7-at-win7/ Yes , I have installed step7 v5.4 sp5 following the instructions at the linke above. The software work but i have a problem. Don't work the connection with tcp-ip interface. Someone else had my same problem? How to solve the problem??? Help me please!!!! Splitted from Windows 7.

Even when you force the step7 to be installed in windows 7 there might be some problem regarding the communication or other bugs in the system. It is recommended to use either Vista or Windows professional. I have not used it on windows 7... i am not sure how the behaviour will be.

Let's wait until new release of Step7 v5.5. Look at Step7 v5.5 . But seems the new version will have delay until autumn. Until you wait, use Microsoft' virtual machine and make installation there under XP. This is the most safety and fastest way. Good luck! Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
