Hello JALVIAR What is the EPROM Programming mode that you have selected ? S5 EPROMs support three different types of programming depending on the EPROM Type / CPU Type. ( Pl See Attachment ) Byte - Typically Used for S5-100U / 95U / 115U Word - Typically Used for S5-135U CPUs ( STEP5 Default ) Word/Block - Typically used for S5-155U Since you have a S5-115U ( CPU 942B ) - You need to Select "Byte" mode. Otherwise your CPU will not be able to read the EPROM . I feel that you may have programmed the EPROM in the STEP5 Default Mode : "WORD" Please check. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag AttachmentS5_EPROM.pdf (350 Downloads) |
