I have an old installation with old panels and plc and we need to replace an panel.

Now the offer from siemens is on Confort panels and for that I have to migrate the project to Tia Portal.

I had to migrate an old project with ProTool. I have manage to migrate the project to wincc flexible 2008 Sp3.  The confort panels are not supported in wicc 2008. I have migrate the project to TIA V13 but in TIA V13 is not supported the cpu , the communication module and som analog module.  The solution is to buy an old tipe of panel in witch case the price is double from confort panels .

Why do not siemens give support in tia for old tipe of plc ?

Tia V13 have BUGS , crashes ocasionally how is TIA V14 ? it is better ?

You can use TIA Portal to progam a Comfort Panel. And Step 7 v5.x to program your CPU.
