I am trying to make a project where I connect a PLC (S7 1214 DC/DC/DC) and a PC system where I want to show the visualization on. I have done this before with other projects without any problem. But this time when I went online with the PLC and simulate the visualization the PLC and HMI seem not to be linked. I get "#" in my text fields. When I try and monitor the values of the PLC I cannot see them changing when I write something different in my visualization. I've tried to put a connection test in to see where the problem lies and I appear not to have a connection for some reason. But I cannot see where I went wrong there? I just simpely went to "Device & networks" and pressed "Connections" and made the link there, like I did last time. Anybody that has any idea where my problme might be?
