We also have a problem communicating PAC3200 with SCADA software, over modbus TCP protocol. In our factory we have 19, PAC3200 devices and 3 of them are acting as jklm described, but other 16 seems to not have keep alive period. After 7 days it is not possible to restart communication with device (we were patient ). So keep alive period is probably not set at all. We install powerconfig software but there is not option to set keep alive period. Is there some other option to check if this option is set on device at all?

What is the firmware of your pac3200? Try updating your firmware with the latest using powerconfig
