Problem connecting PLC and PC. and MMC reset

Zmaj Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hy. I work with S7 PLC 314. After I assembly and wiring PLC and SM, I test an it all work its connect on PC and test program and its work. Next dey, unexplained i canˇt connect PLC and PC. I attempt reset MMC, but,after reset, I set plc on RUN, last program is on the MMC and it work. What should I do. How I connect PLC and PC

You have a button "diagnosticsé there. Try the test button, and try to detect the available devices on the bus with the "read" button. Did you try the function "accessible nodes"? This will, i hope, give you some further indications on what is wrong.

Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	hi when you connect mpi cable PLC & adapter side power & mpi led will glow. Adapter & pc side will see USB led glow. if you get all led it mean your cable is properly connected & mpi port is also ok.this way you can check connectivity. after that go to set pg pc interface, set the adapter setting, or increse the timeout time & check in accessible node....... regards

Zmaj Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	HY I have same problem, on beginning, with connecting PLC and PC. But, I soleve that problem after I reset MMC. Now when I have same problem with connecting,I try again reset MMC, but afert reset procedure, last program is still on MMC, and he work, when PLC IS on RUN. WHY I CANˇT RESET MMC.

This shows you the contents of the MMC. Select all then press delete. Note that there are SFCs (System function blocks) that can't be deleted because they must be there all the time.

Zmaj Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	AMAZINGAHMED do you now read, I Can Connect PLC and PC. Today I make the test PROFIBUS/MPI (5512) and error is: Error 0x031a: No active PROFIBUS/MPI network found. If you want the CP of this PC to be the only active module (for example in DP master mode), the setting <PG/PC is the only master on bus> must be activated. HELLP
