Dear csp I presume your FB7 has the name "P_RCV_RK" and are of version>= 3.0. If this is the case it uses SFB52 and SFB53 internally (the samegoes for FB8 "P_SND_RK")and you will have problem downloading them because your (old old) 316-2 CPU does not have the system function blocks in its firmware (to find out what system functions are part of your CPU you can go online and open up the "Performance Data" tab in the CPU module information). Anyway, the CP PtP library that you have will (should) have FB107 and FB108 init (name"P_RCV_RK_OLD" and "P_SND_RK_OLD), use these instead as they do notutilise SFB52/53 internally and exist purely for use in CPU's that do not have SFB52/53 (there is also a section about this in the CP341 manual that came with the CP) I hope this helps and good luck with your modbus comms. |
