Hi everybody,

I have come across a problem with SIEMENS configurator when I try to find proper components for a G120 drive. The problem is that, when the drive which is proposed by configurator is under 15KW I can choose to have a Line reactor for it but when the drive size goes beyond 22kw the check box to choose to have a line reactor goes gray and becomes disabled.

Could somebody let me know please if this is because there is no need for line reactor for these drive sizes or because SIEMENS itself doesn't supply reactors for larger sizes ?

Is it recommended to use a third party line reactor or it is better to just leave the inductor out?

So for G120 and G120x drives of the appropriate frame sizes( above 15 kW) there is an integrated DC inductabce in the circuit, so that there is no need to purchace an external AC line reactor.
