problem in firmwareupdate CP341

WHEN I CHECKED THE HARDWARE CONFIGRATION OF CP341 FROM THE SIMATIC MANAGER AND WHEN I TRYING TO UPDATE FRIMWARE OF THE CP341 THE FILE USED FOR THIS PURPOSE IS NOT FOUND: 1-IS THE FILE.UPD THAT USED TO UPDATE FRIMWARE OF CP341 LOCATED IN A CONSTANT LOCATION IN PC FOLDER OR DEFFERENT LOCATION 2-DOES THE PROGRAM COMES WITH SOFTWARE OR PROGRAMED BY USER.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, this is funny, because I checked the Firmware files for the CP 341 and there is no fwl File in there. Are you sure that you have the Firmware Update for the CP 341? I personally doubt it, I guess you have a Firmware update for a Ethernet or PROFIBUS CP, but not for the CP 341. I would strongly recomend to contact Customer Support in your case. Best regards J_Bell

diar Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	THE FILE I ASKED YOU ABOUT IS USED FOR LOAD FRIMWARE OF SIMATIC NET CPSs when opening the software is used to load frimware from simatic...step7...ncm s7....frimware loader the software need file of extention FWL WHEN I SEARCH FOR FILE HAS THE SAME EXTENTION IN MY SYSTEM I DIDNOT FOUND IT CAN YOU HELP ME ON IT

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Well, there are about 30 different Firmware Versions for different CP’s and different Order#. If you search for a Firmware take a look into the Product Support and search for the Order# or CP Name. Within the Downloads you will find the Firmware files in ZIP Format. Regards J_Bell
