Problem In installation Of IMAP

pontiosf1 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have a problem with the installation of IMAP V3.0 to my pc. The version of my STEP7 is 5.4! And believe that i have fullfilled all the requirements! After the installation of IMAP i looked in Control Panel and i saw the program there! The same happend when i looked at START-> SIMATIC-> Information-> Installed software! The problem is that i have no icon in my desktop or in program files, menus, etc. No function at all !!!! If anyone knows something about it, please help me! Thanks in advance!

We recommend to copy the cd of iMap in a directory of your hard disk first andstart the setup of iMapfrom the hard disk. After the installions you have to start the PC again. But if you look at what wzrdstrm said in another post................... wzrdstrm To all that are looking for this information. To do CBA you need Step7,iMAP Add on for Step7 AND iMAP V3.0 SP1. Looks like it would be pretty nice once working, but wish the iMAP was integrated into Step7 (FULLY integrated) It looks like you not only need iMap AddonBUTALSO iMap software itself. Addon is only addon, you probably need real iMap package......... Make any sense???
