PROBLEM IN PROFIBUS COMMUNICATION WITH PLC (315 2PN/DP) & DRIVE(G120 CU 240E-2DP)

GOWDA Posts: 112 Rating: (2)	DEAR ALL I have an problem in an profibus communication with PLC (315 2PN/DP) and 7similer drives of (G120 CU 240E-2DP) In the profibus network there are 7 drives or in series and 1,2,3, are getting communication with plc and the (program in the all drives are same than profibus address ) In some case if i remove the profibus connecter from the drive 4 automatically drive 5 is getting communication but not 6 and 7 IF i try to communicate with the individual system it is getting communication with PLC.but i am not able to communicate the 7 drive in series............ profibus cables used are shielded cable and shield is connected with the ground at all what may be the problem and what i have to check to solve the problem................... fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 6/9/2023 Posts: 2969 Rating: (1025)	Hello GOWDA it seems you are still battling with the same network that gave you problems in the thread PROFIBUS COMMUNICATION ERROR. As such I suggest you follow the advise that you were given in that thread (e.g. study and follow the Design and Installation guidelines from www.profibus.com, check your Network with a Profibus Analyzer etc.). It'll also be much appreciated if you could provide feedback in this and the other thread once you fixed the issue as it may help other users in the future who may have similar problems. GOWDA Posts: 112 Rating: (2)	DEAR FRITZ NOW I AM USING ONLY DRIVE AND PLC IN THE NETWORK AND ACCRDING TO THE DESIGN I HAVE ONLY 7 DRIVE AND 1 PLC IN THE SERIES NETWORK AND OTHER ARE REMOVED FROM THE NETWORK NOT IN USE......
