I am using wireless scalance with pb link I/O in a transporter system which moves over a 150m distance. The layout of the system is attached with this. This transporter has 20 stations and whenever transporter moves and passes through a station, the station has been counted by a proximity sensor. The problem is that this station count is being missed out sometimes. That means the input of the station count proxy is not being scanned by the cpu that time. But when ever we connect whole system in a profibus network, the system runs without any problem. Please suggest me how can I solve this problem? Please help this is very urgent. Hello, If I understand you well, you do not loose a complete station but only pulses on an input board. I guess that the update time of your ET200S is still 128 msec. Because by default STEP7 assumes that you have 64 links in the configuration. And may be the pulses are smaller in time than 2*128msec (two times to be sure never to loose a pulse). Put the real number of IEPB linksin HWconfig. Try to lower the value as suggested in the attachment. But be aware that if you set to low values, depending on Wifi environment, roaming or not, number of links, ...you could loose sporadically a station. You will have to find out what is realistic in your context. AttachmentUpdate time.pdf (82 Downloads) |
