problem installing TIA SP2 UPD5

automation_1 Posts: 133 Rating: (2)	Siemens PG with XP SP3; I have to update TIA SP2, i downloaded UPD5 from siemens site (3+1file) but when running start.exea message like "an error occurred, look to log file" ; someone could help me to find the problem?

TomDeWou Platinum Expert Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (167)	It seems the setup doesn't find the file sia2.ini: SIA2.ini not found\| use sia.ini from: D:\SP2 STEP7 BASIC V11\STEP7 V11 SP2 UPD5\Resources\SIA.ini I suggest downloading the update once again, extract it and try installation then.

automation_1 Posts: 133 Rating: (2)	problem solved, downloading again all 3 file, running file.exe and F8 (reboot) on restart (just with restart command it asked me again to restart, again and again... Thanks
