Hi I have two PLC S7 1200.The monitoring software is WINCC.I want to add new three PLC S7 1200.The relationship created by s7 connection between PLCs together and WINCC.PLC’s connections between old PLCS together and between they with WINCC is good but new PLCs cann’t communicate with together and with WINCC by s7 connection.I think the new PLCs don’t permit to receive data from their. Please help me solve this problem. New PLC’s Order numbers : 6ES7 214-1AG40-0XB0 Old PLC’s Order numbers : 6ES7 212-1AE31-0XB0 6ES7 214-1AG31-0XB0 With regards Attachmentproject.zip (199 Downloads) |

Hi William B.
Thank you for your response.
The new PLC’s firmware version is 4.0.The PLC’s connections between PLCs together and between they with WINCC is S7 connection. The OPC Server’s tags (OPC.SimaticNET,Kepware.KEPServerEX.V5) don’t receive data from new PLCs(connection quality is bad). The GET and PUT instructions don’t work(No send,No receive) in new PLC’s CPU.The PLC(V4.0) sends and receives data with WINCC V7.3 by SIMATIC S7-1200 Channel Driver. I think PLC with firmware V4.0 has problem with OPC Servers and GET and PUT instructions or S7 connection because PLC with firmware V3.0 or lower didn’t have any problem.
Best regards. |

New question published by William_B is split to a separate thread with the subject S71200 V3.0 communicating with OPC. Best regards |
