Dear alibb, I had a look at your program, but didn't download it yet. The first thing I notices is, that your DB2 is shorted as your DB1 The second thing: is your PLCSIM as old as your Step7? Probably old PLCSIM-versions do not support the SFC83 ![]() Info-update: After some search I now found out, that PLCSIM V5.2 already supported SFC83/84, but only executes a NOP. (See page 8 of this link) Can you please publish the diagnostic-buffer after the error. Best regards, yy1 |

Hello alibb I wouldn't worry too much about your PLCSIM version and whether or not it supports the MMC related SFC83/84. Your real problem is that your CPU is an ancient 316 (6ES7316-1AG00-0AB0, that's what's in your HWconfig anyhow). These "version 1" S7 300 CPU's do NOT have a so calledMMC (Micro memory card) but rather a so called MC (a "normal" memory card, the bulkier type like the S7 400). SFC82, 83 & 84 can however ONLY be used withan MMC which also explains that your CPU "complains" about the missing SFC (it simply does not have these SFC's in its operating system, you can find out which SFC's exist in your CPU online in the Performance Data tab of the CPU's Module Information). I hope this helps and below are a few supporting links Which memory cards can you use with a S7-300 CPU? What points do you need to remember during the handling of micro memory cards? |

hi thank you for replying and especialy for this link:https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=22295462&caller=view. i want to say that i used the DB2 only to test my programm and see how SFC83 and SFC84 work. i know it's too diferent from a real MMC but it was the only idea i got to simulate my example. If you know how to simulte MMC tell me!! from your ideas i see that my problem is not the CPU neither my old PLCSIM. ican't change this version. i joined an exelent explanation to the example i want to do. but it's in french ( sorry for that). don't worry it's very esay to undrestand even it's in frensh . thank you!!

Hello Umencho are we talking about the same 316 CPU here? The 6ES7316-1AG00-0AB0 is the one I am talking about (and the one in alibb HWconfig) and while I'd like to stand corrected on this one, Iwill maintain that it is a version 1 S7-300 CPU and as such does have a MC (not MMC) and does NOT supportNOR containSFC82-84. Hello alibb you say that "from your ideas i see that my problem is not the CPU". I'd still say it is the CPU if indeed it is 6ES7316-1AG00-0AB0. Please check its part number and go online to see if SFC SFC82-84 do exist in its OS (and let us know the result). |
