i have a problem to communicate win cc tia portal with Arduino. in fact, i have a shield Arduino and i have watched some tutorial on youtub but all of them does not work !!!

What communication protocol are you using?

A few years ago I managed to communicate an Arduino MEGA with ethernet shield with an S7-1200 through Modbus TCP/IP which I think is the only way through ethernet.

There are several examples on youtube although you have probably already seen them.

1. using TCP/IP protocol!

if you mean general TCP/IP then not possible, maybe via suitable protocol Gateway. What protocol then is required is depended to your HW capabilities and protocols set on both sides.

2. with Win cc tia portal

this is really very general info, so what can I imagine about that?

Generally, all devices (Panels f.ex.) and SW on oposite side of PLC acts in this case as Master/Client so your Arduino need to work as Slave/Server. You need set proper protocol type on Arduino in this case to simply have data with oposite side (HW/SW). Many solutions are available but Arduino is not that one that can support Industry most solutions available. One of expecetd protocol what is easy implemented on Arduino is Modbus RTU or TCP via serial link or ETH Shield and also Siemens side is handling this ok, check documentation to your Siemens HW/SW for sure. All what you need to do is to set/program MODBUS RTU or TCP protocol on Arduino with correct role cfg (Master/Slave or Client/Server) and configure Siemens side, if it support this due actual cfg. Here available interfaces and protocol capable to them plays role here.

hi guys, my problem is solved. i have used tcp/ip trough ethernet  connection.

at the begining it did not work and after that i have downloded OPC server(youtub trick). now it works

so SW Gateway/bridge included as I mentioned. Can you be kind show some hints about that OPC setup or also that Youtube link where you've eat some knowledge about this? Many users here will take benefit from this in my opinion.

Here in attachment the OPC zip, it's a driver that can permit Arduino and wincc Tia portal to communicate.

All we need to do it's to put the IP address in the Arduino scetch and in the connection in win cc Tia portal at the same time!

If the IP address is good the will communicate !
