Hi Guys,

I need so help with a touch panel. I can not load the project to the panel.

I am working at an institute of a University. 

First I was using the Wincc software installed at the Institute because the license, the problem is, the Wincc are in a virtual machine in an external HD. I installed the drivers for the Belkin Easy Transfer (F5U258ea ) cable in both: the laptop and in the virtual machine. 

When I used wincc installed in the virtual machine, I get an error that there was no possible to establish connection with the device. I have checked the transfer settings in the panel(channel 2: USB, enable channel, remote control) according to the FAQ Usb transfer file from siemens.

So, I installed a trial version of Wincc in my laptop, but i can not either load the project. i get the error that the panel version in the Wincc project is not compatible with the operation system of the panel. it asked me to update the version in the panel, but I did not update the version and give some other errors for the updating.

OS of the panel: V01.01.04.00_01.16

version of the panel in the project: V01.01.04.00. I can not select in wincc the version of the panel.

So, in summary:

1. Do I am doing something with the tranfer of the project?

2. How can I update the version of the OP of the panel?

3. I have the folder of the project, Is it possible to add this file in a SD 512 MB (let say I can find one) and use the SD card to load the project in the pannel?
