i can't update the OS of a TP700 Comfort panel, i tried to communicate to it using TIA V13 , and Prosave but the connection failed .

i use Ethernet connection , the IP adress is OK and i see the HMI in the accessible partenaire (see attachement)

and when i tried to connecte to the TP700 Comfort , i obtain this avertissement : 

the type of the target in the offline project differs from the type of the target online

please help me

If you have a panel which freezes during startup screen (Simatic HMI), OS update can solve this problem, yes. OS update is done with Prosave tool.

But, for tp700 panels, this procedure is done thru eth port. And tp700 panels' eth ports aren't activated until startup is complete. If you connect a cat5 cable to the port, you will not see the eth leds blinking.

So, as you aren't able to make OS update; you cannot save the panel.

That's all I know. If there is any other solution, yet I don't know.
