Hi All, I am experiencing problems trying to implement 2nd screen takeover using SmartServer with GMP functionality: only 1 user may be in control at any time. My setup: - IPC647E that runs my PLC software and WinCC RT Advanced - A1200 Touch HMI that is connected via Profinet / Ethernet to above stated IPC which works as a monitor and is the main HMI. - IPC477E with build in A1300 HMI touch screen and which I want to use to mirror the A1200 HMI. The IPCs are on the same network in the same IP range and can ping each other. I used this manual (see attachment): Remote Control of Operator Panels in the Pharmaceutical Environment WinCC Audit (TIA Portal) and WinCC Sm@rtServer (TIA Portal) Taking over the A1200 screen using the SmartClient (build into my WinCC runtime) works perfectly fine, the problem is that I can only mirror the screen but the login part is not working. To make the login part work, my klone IPC needs access to the tags inside the main IPC. This supposively works via the 'SIMATIC HMI HTTP' protocol. Now I think thats where my problem is. See screenshot below, I have enabled HTTP Server channel. - Does this mean my main IPC should be running a server that can be reached via browser? On the side of the client (A1300 HMI), I have only enabled 'Start Sm@rtServer'. To test communication I made a test INT inside the A1300 HMI which has the address of a tag inside the main IPC. I can view the bit on the A1300 and I can force the INT on my main IPC to any number but it doesnt change. My main question is, how can I be sure that the SIMATIC HMI HTTP server is running? Thanks!
