problem when i try to install wincc on virtual machine

Hi guys I have sort of a similar problem when i try to install wincc on virtual machine. I get the error message MSI file initialization failed: ERROR_OPEN_FAILED I tried to folow dec's advice and copy all the files to the root folder of the vm (C:/TempInst) but i get the same error. Hello, You use Windows 7 64-bit. Which WinCC V11 version do you use? As from version STEP 7 V11 SP2, STEP 7 V11 is enabled for a 64-bit operating system in the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems. Welche SIMATIC Software lässt sich unter 64-bit Betriebssystemen installieren? Tweety |
