Problem while programming my stepper motor application using 1 step

faizuddin Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Hello Friends, I have been working on programming my stepper motor based application using 1 step module and an S7-300 CPU. I want the motor to stop when the emergency stop button is pressed and start again only when the stop has been acknowledged and the movement command given again. I expect it to execute the steps remaining after the previous execution, but instead its starting running all steps.I have used the condition like if the value in DBD storing the number of steps is less than total value then the program should make the remaining steps as the total number of steps following an external stop. But since after acknowledging the stop, there is no condition of emergency stop in the next scan cycle the program uses total number of steps again. Kindly help me with this so that my problem is solved. Any help in this regards is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Jens92 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Maybe you can use a reset button that refference the stepper motor. And after that you can start the program. Can you put your project file online?
