Hello fly before we get to your question, allow me to ask you if you are aware that this is a forum and not the Siemens Technical support hotline? People contribute here on their own free will to help each other and to share knowledge and I would thank jklmfor extendinghishelp to you if I were you. Now that we got that out of the way, let's see if I'm the "serious guy" who can help you. To start with, if would have helped if you would have given a bit more info about your problem. Iwill however make an educated guess andassume thatthe troubled FC88 callof the STL source filefrom your original post is the converted call of FB204(called from FB133) of your original S5 program, correct? If so, it is a 32 bit division block (aptly called "DIV:32" in the S5) and may be replaced byFC88 from "S5-S7 converting Blocks" library. Alternatively (this is what I would do)throw it away and simply use the inbuilt Double Integer division (together with modulo if required) instead. By the way, the reason for the error in your source file compilation (ref thepicture of yoru original post) is simply because you use a BYTE (DBB104) instead of a WORD (e.g. DBW104) for the Z_12 parameter of FC88 (note that your S5 program has quite correctly DW52 assigned to this paramater which the converter would have converted to DBW104, did you edit the source file?). Anyway, not such a "strong debug" after all and I hope this helps |

Hello fly you'll need COM525 and can find the manual for it HERE(part 1/2, it also includes the CP524 description)and HERE (part 2/2). Having said that, your picture does NOT show aSiemens CP524 but instead aWestinghouse made version of it which may - or may not - be functionally identical to the one described in the Siemens manual. I hope this helps |
