Problem with 5 GHz Communication with Scalence W788-1RR

C_La Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I am trying to configure Scalence Access PointW788-1RR (MLFB: 6GK5788-1AA60-6AA0) for wireless communication through Rcoax leaky wave cable antennaand IWLAN-PB Link as client. I am able to establish communicationon 2.4 GHz frequency setting in Access point and Country Code as India. In the datasheet it is mentioned that the access point can communicate at both 2.4 as well as 5 GHz frequency. But on changing the frequency to 5GHz, no communication is happening and fault is appearing in the Access point and also in master PLC. Urgent help required...

Please check the order number printed on the cable, there are 3 different ones, one for 2,4 and one for 5 GHz. And what is the receiving antenna on the IWLAN/PB Link PN IO's side? If you change the settings on the AP do you also change them on the side of the Link? If not this is soemthing you should do. The cable lengths you use are they based on the RCOax System Manual for 5 GHz?RCoax System Manual If you've checked all this, how is the environment and which 5 GHz do you use? Is it based on 802.11a or on 802.11h? Which channel did you select? Did you check for overlapping APs?
