Hello all,

I have instalation with S7-1200 and KTP400 Basic mono, but I have no software for both devices. Current IP range is 192.168.151.x / 255.255.255.0 I would like to change IP on both devices to IP range 10.1.0.x / 255.255.255.0. I can change IP on control panel of HMI panel and I can change IP of S7-1200 with S7-1200 Tool.

Unfortunately after I changed IPs HMI I have no connection between HMI and CPU.

Is it possible to change IP on both devices with properly communication without source?

You have to change the Destination IP Adress of your HMI Connection in the HMI Runtime Project.

Go to the Control panel of the KTP400 -> Service And Commissioning -> IP Adaption

Here you can change the IP Adress of an existing HMI Connection.

I tried it in My KTP600 and it works.

But you need at least one of the "newer" OS Images for the Panel, I have V12.0.1.5

If you do not have the "IP Adapption" Tab then your Image is too old and you have edit in the Project and load the HMI again.

Of course you can change both of the IPs but you have to configure the connection between the PLC and the KTP again in the TIA portal

Yes of course he could but he wrote that he has no HMI Project.

As I wrote you can do this also directly on the Panel its a new Feature in the newer Images of the Panels.

In this case (with a V11 Image) you cannot change something inside the communication settings of the connections of the Panel´s Runtime-project.

Here you need the HMI Project to change and load the Panel,
