problem with character encoding and event/alarm list

mara Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Hi all! I have some character encoding and alarm/event list. I would like to have Croatian characters in alarm/event list but I get only some weird characters. I have added Croatian language in Text Library, Language Setting at Runtime is set to Croatian and Default Language is set to Croatian. Regional and Language Options in Windows XP OS is set also to Croatian. WinCC version is v6.0 SP4 and SQL Server version is SQL Server 2000 SP4. Is there any other option to set? Can someone help me with this? Thank you in advance! [:)]

If not then make sure you have set the font to Croation for the Croation column. Secondly, on the alarm control you need to set the system font to Croation too. I remember there being a couple of obscure places where the font needs to be set. I don't have WinCC running at the moment so cannot check where these are. Can you try the above and let us know what you find.
