Problem with CP 343-1

CP has broken the 343 (6GK7 343-1EX11-0XE0 V.2.0) and I put the CP 343 (6GK7 343-1EX00-0XE0 v.5.0). But I get the bug in FC6 (8184 - It has been suggested a data type not permissible for the parameter recv)..¿ Why does this happen to me?, ¿Is too old?, ¿what should I do?. Thanks and forgive my English.

INS Gold Member Joined: 4/6/2006 Last visit: 2/5/2024 Posts: 604 Rating: (56)	Hi, Furthermore you could try to load your connections again in the CP because it could be that your S7 is programmed without saving the CP parameters on the CPU. This would mean that the CP must be loaded seperately. But to be honest I think it also could be an incompatability problem because Siemens ensures for most components an upwards compatibility. Downwards this isn't ensured. Since your CP is older there could be many problems. For example your CP could be incompatible with the CPU you have in use. There for I suggested to exchange the CP to at least a type with the same MLFB-Number or otherwise a newer type. The newest availableis the: 6GK7343-1EX30-0EX0.

If I update the CP fireware win something?. I have the 4.7 version of the FC6 Siemens, and with another version before that?. Is there any solution to not buy another card CP 341?. Do you use it? Is it possible to change type of data that you'll exchange? Just try to receive one byte. Regards Hristo Mihalev

The PLC writes well in Delphi (SEND is OK), but Delphi cannot read of PLC, my failure is in FC6 (8184). It must be the problem because the other card worked fine. Do you think I must change the fireware CP?. Thank you very much.

To get online version of the card has not changed, remains v.5.0, why no 7.0?. To make a diagnosis with NCM, see this: (see archives). Thanks and I hope your suggestions. Anyway ,my idea was just to send from Delphi application one simple bit. And after that to see result. Might be the data which is exchanging is to "big and too complicate". I tried to limit the number of bytes in the call to FC6 (from 120 bytes to 10), but has the same bug. I have the 4.7 version of FC6, and if you post another older?, You know where you can download previous versions?. My English is fair, in your last message, do you think you have to change with a new PC? . Thanks for your help

umencho Diamond Expert Joined: 3/21/2006 Last visit: 3/30/2025 Posts: 10239 Rating: (1183)	Hi again, So, now situation is clearer. ...The versions of blocks FC5 "AG_SEND" and FC6 "AG_RCV" are not compatible with the release of the communication processor (CP) used... Unfortunately you'll need older version of Step7 or NCM. There you'll find version of FC6(RECV) compatible with this older CP. For more info look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/CN/view/en/30335356 . I don't know, but might be possible if you find this library (someone here could helps) and then just to add into existing ones. Other way is to buy new CP. Hope this will helps. Try putting it in the Forum, so they can help me. Change FC6 will be my final proof, if fails, I buy a new CP. Thank you very much for everything and greetings
