Hello, everybody... In my case,something different happened. I tried toinstall a CP Lean with a CPU model 315-2AF03, in an existing machine, but it didn't work. This CPU is installed using 3 racks, with 1 IM360 and 2 IM361's (maybe it doesn't matter, instead...). I thought that this older model doesn't run with CP 343 Lean (the original reason). BUT, I tried to use the same CP with a 315-2AG10 CPU model, and, didn't work either!.. I let the new CPU installed at the machine (forotherreasons, i.e., memory capbs...), and made some tests in my desk with the older CPU and another CP (same model and version, bought together with the first one), and it works normally!!! I switch the CP's, one works, another doesn't. Imade the look in the Live List (accessible nodes). With the CP that works, I see address 2 & 3 (exactly as my testing project). With the CP that doesn't work, I only see the address 2. The error in the diagnostics tell that the model type is not correct (see text attached)! When I just tooked out the CP, the CPU goes to RUN. With the CP, it keeps in STOP. The same happened in other equipment that uses older CPU. Is the CP defective, or just a matter of upgrade, firmware, or other reason??? Thanks alot...
