Problem with function

Surely it's going to be an easy problem to solve, but at the moment I can't make it work. Thank you before hand. A function can not return arrays or structs, thus you will have to find a way to pass the array into global accesable memory (e.g. a global DB or a group of flags) 2. A function can not have static memory, this means that the VAR definition has to be changed in a VAR_TEMP I don't know what you are trying to achieve but you probaly will have to create a function that has an output for each member of the array and then you will need to put these elements back into an array in the calling function. e.g FC10 : void VAR_INPUT NUM_RACK:INT; END_VAR VAR_OUTPUT ELM0 : INT; ELM1 : INT; ELM2 : INT; ELM3 : INT; ELM4 : INT; ELM5 : INT; ELM6 : INT; ELM7 : INT; ELM8 : INT; ELM9 : INT; END_VAR VAR_TEMP j:INT; AUX: ARRAY [0..9] OF DWORD; END_VAR FOR j:=0 TO 9 BY 1 DO AUX[j]:=DB4.SLOT[DB4.RACK_C0[NUM_RACK,DB2.INPUT_SLOT,j]]; END_FOR; ELM0 := AUX[0]; ELM1 := AUX[1]; ELM2 := AUX[2]; ELM3 := AUX[3]; ELM4 := AUX[4]; ELM5 := AUX[5]; ELM6 := AUX[6]; ELM7 := AUX[7]; ELM8 := AUX[8]; ELM9 := AUX[9]; END_FUNCTION In the calling function you would then call this function as follows FC11 : void VAR_TEMP MyNumRack : INT; AUX: ARRAY [0..9] OF DWORD; END_VAR MyNumRack := 1; FC10(NUM_RACK:=MyNumRack,ELM0 := AUX[0];ELM0 := AUX[0];ELM1 := AUX[1];ELM2 := AUX[2];ELM3 := AUX[3];ELM4 := AUX[4];ELM5 := AUX[5];ELM6 := AUX[6];ELM7 := AUX[7];ELM8 := AUX[8];ELM9 := AUX[9]); ... This UDT can be defined as RET_VAL.
