Problem with HW Config

When I'm trying open HW Config, pcs7 displays window that I attached as jpg file... Enyone knows what package/s I need? I installed Drive Es and Drives Es Basic but it did not solve my problem. I hope somebody can help me or has any ideas how solve this problem. In the picture you can see products I have installed on my PC. They have 3 products what do not exist in my pcs7. I dont't have following products: PCS 7 Driver Blocks V5.2 + Hotfix 4, PCS 7 Library V5.2 + Hotfix 4, STEP 7 V5.3 + SP2 + hf10 ( I have Step 7 V5.3 + sp2 but have not HF10) Maybe here lies the problem?

Fatso Bronze Member Joined: 9/11/2006 Last visit: 3/17/2022 Posts: 168 Rating: (6)	looks like you found your problem.If you are modifying an existing project you should do it using the same version(Step 7 V5.2 in this case) it was created unless you want to do an upgrade of the project then you can replace those devices in the HW configuration withcurrent onesfrom your catalog.

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Fatso ... you are modifying an existing project you should do it using the same version(Step 7 V5.2 in this case) it was created ... That's right. A project created in Step 7 V5.3 SP2 HF10 will not work properly in Step 7 V5.3 SP2. The vice versa is not true.

Dear irb6, I rechecked the screenshot you attached in your first post. The Step7 version in that screenshot shows Step7 V5.3 SP3. SP3 isinclusive of(and greater than) SP2+HF10. This means you do have the right version of Step7. There is some other problem. Can you post your HW config (if it is possible to export)? Regards

Export command is gray One thing I can do is make a screenshot of HW Config. In attachment you can see it. 3 micromasters are unknown and it's the reason of my problem... I did try delete this objects but I could not make any modifications, when I'm trying change profibus propierties in any object the popup window is displayed and informs:" The data are read-only". Are my .gsd files incorrect? And another question: GSD files are archiving with the project or not? Regards Attachment configuration screen.JPG (234 Downloads)
