Problem with KTP 400 Comfort TIA

Giba100 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Greetings for all! I'm new in here so be patient please because i have some problems with finding informations. My first problem is that i haven't got KTP 400 Comfort in my TIA Hardware Catalog, i don't know how to update it... And second one: I have CPU 315-2DP 315-2AF03 and KTP 400 Panel which can be edited only in TIA but this CPU isn't supported by TIA... I want to connect them by Profibus, but I don't know how can i create project ... In Step 7 I don't have KTP in TIA I don't have CPU... How solve this problem ? Is it possible to create Project ( download program ) in Step 7 and Hardware Config ( without KTP ), and visualisation by TIA and somehow connect them ? Thank for help!

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 1/14/2025 Posts: 8804 Rating: (1173)	Hello Giba100, The CPU 315-2AF03 is an old one and not supported by TIA Portal software Which devices and modules are supported by STEP 7 Professional V11 and WinCC Professional V11? About panel, can you explain what software you are using? (TIA portal vx, WinCC basic/comfort etc.) If you want to use Comfort panel, you need at least WinCC Comfort. Best regards, Wizard

But I think, the CPU with MLFB 6ES7315-2AF03 is not supported. Which MLFB-number has the KTP 400 Comfort. Giba100 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	The version I have is V11+SP2, MLFB number for KTP 400 is 6AV2 124-2DC01-0AX0, WinCC BASIC V11+SP2 .... Win CC Basic - thats why I think I can't find this panel :( , only WinCC version Comfort is suitable for this panel?
