Problem with Ktp400Basic, return to transfer

Hi to all,

I'm new into the Forum.

I have problem with Operator Pannel Ktp400Basic, are two time, with two different Op, that after 4/5 months
my customers call me because the Op it's back alone in first screen :

TRANSFER / START / SETTING

But START is not avalaible, and he can't working.

pls look for Siemens service request...

But before that try rebooting the OS of the KTP and still the problem exists

Siemens service request is the best solution for you...

Every time you restart, the Op is in first page and the  application don't start

found the solution pls post it..

long back (2 yrs) there were about 6to7 ktp400 came to our office as touch problem all from same customer ,all out of warranty...

ktp400 colour is quiet good but basic need to be improved...

I had the exact same thing happen to a KTP700 panel. My client called me and said that after power up of the machine the transfer screen was displayed by the panel.

I've gotten my hands on the panel and updated it's firmware to the latest version and reloaded the HMI configuration, so I hope that this won't happen again because my client is far.

Today same think happens to me. Basic Panel 400 has only setting and transfer buttons avaible.

Start is visible but grau - pressing does nothink. I Tried to download software again but runtime does't  start and downloading seems to be to short.

Anyway nothink happens. Basic answer on ping.

I' loking now for the solution - maybe with Prosafetool

I already tried Prosafe tool, but connection could not be establish as well as dowloading sotfware from TIA portal ,

although panel reply on ping command and reacts on flash led command from TIA Portal

I noticed also that sound doest work on panel (this annoying beep), and panel looks to work slow

PROBLEM SOLVED

First I upgraded my TiaPortal v13sp1 to V13sp2, and then I follow points sugested by Siemens Support:

During project download to panel also panel Firmware was upgraded.

After conection everythink works fine.

Wiping out project and locking downloading in my persolnal opinion is caused by some bug in firmware of early siemens basic panel , fixed in newer firmware version - but it's only my personal opinion!
