problem with my STEP 5 License!

yair Regular Member Joined: 3/25/2009 Last visit: 5/15/2021 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	i have disk with step 5 installation and license on 1.44MB disket how can i renew my license becouse when i try to copy the license from the disket to Automation License manager after i installed the STEP 5 the files in the disket deleted ' and i have no license now so if anyone can help me i will back to be happy again

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 6/6/2023 Posts: 2966 Rating: (1025)	Hello yair not too sure if I understand your problem correctly but I assume you have lost your license key completely (i.e. it is NOT on your Floppy Disk NOR on your Hard disk). If this is the case (and it can happen), the only way to recover it it to get in touch with Siemens via the link below: How can you recover defective licenses and authorizations? I hope this helps
