hi comunity;

i have a small problem with my PLC S7 1200 1211c v1.0.

with this PLC its imposibel to conect on the network profinet with ET200S. I create the profinet sub net and connect both device and the controle io is not assigned to ET200s.

which is the problem?

with other version of firmware in the same PLC dont happens this, with other version 2.0 happen this:

           Hi enrialanso,

     Have you assigned the device name, click on the IO-Device, click on Properties Tag at below of that screen, there is a tab called ethernet adresses, there you would see the converted name. I put the screenshot on the message. Copy that converted name and find the device by ethernet, assign it to the device, than try again to go online.

Like already mentioned: You need to upgrade the firmware of your CPU.

Fw v1 does not support Profinet.

After you have upgraded the Firmware of your CPU and changed the Device Configuration, it will work.

Is the device a remote I/O rack and not a stand alone plc ? 

If so you simply have to assign the device to a master plc by clicking the Network View tab and dragging a line between the 2 devices (the master plc and the remote i/o device)
