Problem with NTP Time Sync

zero109025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi All I have follow the instruction to set my CP443-1 and CPU417-5H to set the NTP function (NTP Server is my PC) https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/adsearch/resultset.aspx?region=WW&lang=en&netmode=internet&ui=NDAwMDAxNwAA&term=ntp+cp&ID=22144502&ehbid=2214450 2 But the CPU cannot sync with my CP443 (even the CP443 sync the NTP server successfully), However, the CPU can sync with the NTP server successfully when using the PROFINET port. Dose anyone can help to slove this problem?

Fafner Silver Member Joined: 3/20/2013 Last visit: 3/18/2025 Posts: 676 Rating: (44)	how exactly do you configure your CP+PLC? you have to adjust the synchroniszation at your CP (NTP, server addresses, forward time of day to station and perhaps accept time from non synchronized NTP servers) and at you PLC (type of synchronization as slave)
