The following problem has arisen: there is a need to receive data from several multi-channel temperature sensors, using an OPC DA server from the manufacturer of these sensors (OPCDataStore V2.45). On the same computer, Tia Portal V14 is installed, which is configured as an OPC DA client. The connected WinCC client is displayed on the OPC server, but when trying to get tags, Tia Portal reports that there is no connection. To test the OPC server (OPCDataStore V2.45), another third-party OPC client (Multi-Protocol MasterOPC Server) was installed, which connects and receives data without any problems. If the computer are in a work group the windows user from the server station must be also user in the client station and the windows user from client station must be user from server station. The windows user from client station must be in admin group of the server station 2. Pleas check the DCOM settings on bot computers if the opc server and client are on different computer.
