Good morning,

I have issue with  password locked MP 177  6"  Touch HMI afetr entering wrong password many times.

I can backup and restore via prosave. and I have backup file.

Afetr backup and restore also password is locked.

The project file I have and open with wincc 2008 SP3 shows the bellow bessage.

" the project was created with an incompatible or beta versin of WinCC flexible, it was last opened with V 1.4.0.0 (1.16.16) Open the project with a valid WinCC felxible version"

Continue the version change and transfered project and OS update , Afetr transfer  HMI shows connecting.... But not get connect.

How can I reset the password and solve the  problem.

Please help.

Back to Prosave, it will solve your problem. Just do the following procedure.

Ayman Elotaify

To do it:

• Upload complete backup from the TP using Prosave.
• Create a new project using WinCC flexible with the new user adminstration settings and with empty screens. and download it on the TP.
• Use prosave again the make a backup image for "User Management"
  You can select "User Ma\nagement" in backup mask of the prosave program.
• Then download again the orignal image you have uploaded in the first step.
• Then download the backup image of "user management" on the TP.
• Now you have the same software with the new administration settings.

1. Does it need to config "connections" in new empty project,  which to set up communication between OP and station?

2. Once goes to Transfer step , do I need to click the "Overwriting the user administration data"?
