problem with profibus DP network

hi everyone, i have a problem that maybe someone can help me solve.

I have a DP network, wich has 4 dp slaves conected in series.

The problem I have is that when all four of them are conected everything is ok, The network works OK.

The problem is when one of this slaves is turned OFF. Aparently there is a high impedance that makes the network asume there is a end of network. If I remove the profibus conector from the slave that is Turned Off the network works again.

This happens with all four slaves.

I am worried that at some point by some reason a main card would get damaged and turned off and I will loose the network with the rest of the salve in that branch.

Any idea??
